2008 Owensboro Christmas Parade

Happy Holidays !!!Owensboro hosts one of the largest parades in Kentucky, second only to the Pegasus Parade in Louisville. We are the largest Christmas parade in the tri-state area. Please join us in downtown Owensboro Kentucky on November 22nd 2008 for our version of “Oh Let Your Light Shine.”  Over 10,000 spectators start gathering early in the afternoon to get the perfect spot to watch over one hundred twenty units.

Daymar College has the honor of being the last float before Santa’s arrival.  With this honor, we assist Santa in not only handing out Candy Canes to the children who anxiously await his arrival, but collect letter to Santa.  Daymar College has been honored with this responsibility for many years.

The Owensboro Daymar College family enjoyed a family-friendly tailgating party, smiles and holiday cheer prior to the parade.
